Ex Soul Coughing frontman hypes "Let the SOLO man go through".

It's been only six months since the split of the funk/jazz Soul Coughingcalled it quits but former frontman M. Doughty has dropped the dates for his first extended headlining tour. September 14 in Asbury Park, New Jersey
will be the kick off date for Doughty, who since the split has worked with BT and written a few words for the NY Press.Doughty will kick out some new jams as well as some vintage Soul Coughing material, all of which will be acoustic performances that will take the singer through October 29.

Doughty will also lend his mind and voice to this summer's spoken word SpitfireTour along with Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedy's Singer) and Michael Franti (Spearhead MC) for dates in Green Bay and New York City.

For his solo album, Doughty hooked up with trancemaster BT as well as They Might Be Giants' John Flansburgh. Check your record stores for the album in the winter of 2000. Grab a pen and paper and look below to see when Doughty will invade your town.
