Nobody still can beat BS2000

Adam Horowitz of the Beastie Boys,a.k.a. Ad Rock, a.k.a. BS2000 is sparking up a new joint for heads to get down with. Buddy (which drops in November) is the new single from Ad Rock's side project BS2000. The BS crew features Amery Smith a.k.a AWOL who is the Beastie's touring drummer (and plays most of the Beastie's punk rock anthems). The new 4 track EP will be realeased on Grand Royal November 13, 2000. BS2000 that is. The full length will be released in January of 2001.

No word yet on whether or not BS will hit the road, but chances are good. The Beasties had to cancel their Rhyme and Reason tour earlier this year due to Mike D's bike injury. But BS2000 (from what we remember from their first LP) is not really a band, but rather Ad Rock getting down with drum machines and samplers (so who really does know about a tour?). Check www.grandroyal.com or www.beastieboys.com for more info.
