Madonna has announced a rare live performance to take place at NYCís Roseland Ballroom on Nov. 5. On the heels of the very-successful new album, Music, she commented that the show is a chance to "get my feet wet on the stage again and a way to say thank you to an intimate group of my fans for all their support over the years" Ö which is cool, but have you heard her sing live? Anyway, it will be a stripped down, bare bones sans simulated-masurbation -on-a-bed experience for the lucky few whoíll actually get in to see it. Tickets will not go on sale to the public, but will be given away through radio stations in the tri-state area.
Madge continues, "It's a party that 3,000 people are
invited to and I am going to sing a few songs at my
party." DJ Deep Dish will be DJ-ing the event, and folkie hip-hop man Everlast is also set to play. Other surprise guests are expected to be announced in the coming weeks as well.
