Ashcroft reschedules tour dates

Wow that was quick, especially in rock star time. There was a small industry rumor that the former front man for the Verve postponed his US tour dates due to horrible ticket sales (not an illness like reported), but Ashcroft has already rescheduled the dates for the new year. The singer has even added some new dates for good measure (most likely as an apology) giving the states more chances to see the amazing singer belt out tracks from his first solo record Alone With Everybody.

The tour will now begin in Chicago on January 19, with a second show to be played in the windy city on the 20th. Second show dates have also been added in the major markets like Toronto,
New York and Los Angeles
while the Detroit
show has been upgraded to a larger venue. Ashcroft will also say hello to Mr. David
Letterman when he performs on the Late Show on January 15.

The rescheduled dates are as follows:

Chicago Double Door (January 19, 20)

Detroit St. Andrews (21)

Toronto Opera House (23, 24)

Boston Paradise Rock Club (27)

New York Bowery Ballroom (28, 29)

Philadelphia Theater Of Living Arts (31)

Washington D.C. 9:30 Club (February 1)

Los Angeles Knitting Factory (3,4)

San Francisco, Bimbos 365 Club (5)

Vancouver, British Columbia, Commodore (7)
