Forget Limp Bizkit and Eminem, here comes the real anger management tour. Word on the street is that the American-1970ís-luviní Black Crowes are gonna team up with the British-1960ís-luviní Oasis for a melding of music and tempers out on the open road. Itís a perfect match, really, considering both bands have shown a healthy commitment to rock-star debauchery, and they both have a colorful history of major intra-band sibling dramaÖso let the games begin. The plan is to co-headline an American tour (the Crowes will go on after the lads) that will begin as early as June 2001.
A US tour effectively contradicts Noel Gallagherís vow never to play shows with Oasis in outside the UK. Even if the tour gets off the ground, battles between Oasisí brothers Liam and Noel and the Crowesí Chris and Rich are legendary, and have disrupted their tours before. In the meantime, Oasis have a live album coming out Nov. 21 entitled Familiar to Millions, and the Black Crowes are in the studio with Don Was working on an album for a Spring 2001 release.
