The two boys who could have been crowned "Least Likely to Make Rap Music (Especially Considering They Are British and Skinny and White)" in high school, are going against expectations to guest on the new Handsome Boy Modeling School album, according to reps at Tommy Boy Records. Yep, that's right, Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Blur's Damon Albarn are going to join producers Prince Paul and Dan 'The Automator' Nakamura on tracks for the follow-up to Handsome Boy's critically acclaimed hip-hop debut, "How's Your Girl?"
"It should be really great," said a spokesperson for Tommy Boy, "Can you imagine Thom Yorke on a really good hip-hop track? We're really excited about the collaboration." Ignoring the gross over-use of "really" in that spokesperson's statement, the excitement from the record label end is palpable. The as-yet-untitled album will be released later this year.
