Thirteen:13 hail from Camden, the hotspot of the britpop revival of 1995, and
create a sound consistent with their upbringing. On their debut single, "Perfect
Imperfection", jangly guitars mix with sweet harmonies, combining such diverse
influences as Elliott Smith, The Byrds, and Nirvana to produce a new,
yet not wholly unfamiliar sound. Fans of Travis, Coldplay, Blur or The
Stone Roses will not be disappointed. A full length is due later in the year, and if
the premiere single is anything to go by, the record is one to look out for.
