Long-time rapper, and hip-hop culture icon KRS-One, a.k.a. Kris Parker, is back in the studio. After a four-year hiatus, KRS ONE is preparing for the album release of "The Sneak Attack" which will hit stores in Late March. Working with indie label Front Page Recordings and Koch Entertainment's newly launched hip-hop imprint, In the Paint, KRS-One is sure to turn some heads with this album. "The Sneak Attack" is the follow-up to last year's greatest hits collection, "KRS-One: A Retrospective," released on his former label, Jive Records.
The origins of conscious hip-hop will be felt again next month with the release of the first single "Hot", produced by Grand Daddy I.U. and Jazzy Jeff of the Funky Four. KRS-One is beyond rap, he is a manifestation of Hip-hop culture. Minds will be cleared and Knowledge will still Reign Supreme Over Nearly Everybody.
