Bob Dylan and his son Jakob will both play the 2001 Midtown Music Festival in Atlanta which slams the dirty south May 4-6. The father and son team will play with their respective bands, but who knows what kind of suprises could happen. The festival will feature over 130 acts over the 3 day stint, and close to 300,000 concert fanatics will feel the effects courtesey of: Run-D.M.C., Train, The Offspring, Live, Ben Harper, The Josh Joplin Group, Blues Traveler, Joan Osborne, the Cult, Tantric, Jerry Cantrell, Less Than Jake, Sugar Hill Gang, Cheap Trick, Evan and Jaron, the Black Crowes, Marvelous 3, Drivin N Cryin, the Indigo Girls, Gov't Mule and a re-formed Arrested Development.
