42-Track Anthology Brings INXS Back To Life

INXS will release their 42-song opus Shine Like It Does: The INXS Anthology (1979 ñ 1997) on June 5 through Rhino Records. The posthumous release will shine tracks from way back like Simple Simon (their first single) as well as the rare goods including Are The Vegetables, Just Keep Walking, The Loved One and Stay Young. During the 80ís and early 90ís INXS became one of the most successful rock acts from down under, before the tragic death of singer Michael Hutchence occurred in November of 1997. Hutchence was found hanged in his hotel room, with rumors of suicide or autoerotic asphyxiation.

Jon Stevens whose old night gig was singing for Noiseworks now fronts the rest of INXS, who will launch an Australian tour attack on the US, when they team up with the two other known rock bands from crocodile dundeeland - Midnight Oil and Men at Work.
