Old Ramon

Would someone please take this loaded gun and vodka bottle out of my hand, this record has changed my mind about committing suicide again for last time. Mark Kozelek is an extremely talented musician and songwriter, whose San Francisco crew Red House Painters, have been mastering the art of tolerable mood music since the early 90ís. An odd turn of events left this masterpiece recording, Ramon, in a basement somewhere at Island records, and has now found a home at Sub Pop. 10 personified tracks that originally were mixed and matched in late 1997, come to life in a swamp of emotions and heartache, with a dirty blues touch of class. Propers to Justin at AAM for turning us on to this salvation from the aggressive noise on the market today, and Tony Kiewel at Sub Pop who treated our ears with this addictive dose of audio valium.
