Thursday Express-New Order & Cyclefly ask friends:Wanna help on our record?

Even superstar bands like to have guest appearances on their albums sometimes. Manchester
indie kingpins New Order have invited a couple of music industry pals along for the
ride for their upcoming record. The Chemical Brothers and Billy Corgan are in
the New Order gang, both collaborating on the same track, "Shipwreck of a Broken
Man." Corgan will provide vocals whilst the brothers Chemical will bring the funk.
Look for the album to hit shelves in September.

Irish rockers Cyclefly are due to release their sophomore album Tales From The
Fishbowl,
and it will have a touch of star power added before it even hits the streets. The
album will feature a contribution from Chester Bennington, lead singer of nu-rock
sensations Linkin Park. Evidently, Bennington, whose vocals will feature on
the track "Karma Killer," was duly impressed with Cyclefly upon seeing them live a few
years back and was more than willing to help out. The album is due out at the end of summer
on MCA/Radioactive.
