Punk rockís favorite "roots radicals" Rancid will spew their first DVD later this year according to their longtime label Epitaph Records. The footage that will appear on the coveted disc is still unknown, but singer Tim (Lint) Armstrong was strapped with a camera during the making of Rancidís self-titled album last year. Lint has had his hand on the camera in the past for "Ruby Soho" with Jim Guerinot, and "Salvation" with Mark Kohr, and was main man behind the lens for "Nihilism".
Tim Armstrong recently produced and appeared on fellow Rancid member Lars Frederiksenís side project The Bastards, with whom Armstrong directed three unreleased videos rumored to appear on the DVD. Look for the Bastards who are on tour right now, and for Rancid when they headline another Vans Warped Tour which kicks off June 22 in Phoenix.
