Ex-Soul Coughing Voice Hits The Road

M. Doughty, the very busy ex-frontman of the now defunct Soul Coughing, has added a 16-date solo acoustic tour of US cities and college campuses to his itinerary. He'll be performing some of his new solo stuff (still unreleased) alongside older Soul Coughing tracks. A few of the bands who'll join him at different stops are the Violent Femmes, They Might Be Giants, and G.Love & Special Sauce. Doughty's other current projects include his solo album, a book of poetry, a regular column in the New York Press, and a pop culture discussion group that he moderates at www.superspecialquestions.com.
