Following in the footsteps of fellow make-up wearing bands from Birmingham, England
(Duran Duran, Human League, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath,
Birdland, hell are there any bands from Birmingham that DON'T wear make-up?),
King Adora are boys with tons of make-up and hair going in every direction.
Thankfully, they also have guitars going in every direction. The guitar lines in "Suffocate"
swarm about like hornets, buzzing in and out of your consciousness and the band's punk
sensibilities are evident in lead singer Matt Browne's snarling vocals, the
aforementioned punchy guitars and the song length of under two and a half minutes. This is
a pure blast of punk-pop and one worth savoring over and over.
