Tuesday Express - P Roach Cancels Tour; Coldplay, U2 up for Novellos

Vacaville, California's own alt-thrash-depressed-metallers Papa Roach have had to call
off their current tour, due to a wrist injury to drummer David Buckner. The band was
preparing to embark on the second leg of their Raid The Nation tour, starting April 24 in Grand
Rapids and ending in Phoenix on May 11, with Fear Factory and Alien Ant
Farm in tow. The band, will, however, still play the two radio shows on their itinerary.
Fear Factory is already planning to go on their own tour now in the same cities, but
Alien Ant Farm's plans at this time are not known.

Everyone's favorite cute and cuddly heartfelt balladeers Coldplay have been nominated
for this year's Ivor Novello Awards, one of the most highly regarded British songwriting
awards. Their song "Trouble" is up in the "Best Song Musically and Lyrically" category.
Other bands that we care about that have been nominated are U2's "Beautiful Day" in
the "Best Contemporary Song" category and battling Coldplay for the award is "Babylon" by
David Gray. The award ceremony is located in London and will be held on May 24.
Good luck to our kids!
