Who knows where the hell Robert Smith and The Cure go hibernate when they're out of the spotlight, but we do know where they'll be this summer when they finally reappear. It's been announced that the band will headline the Danish festival, Roskilde, and their July 1st show will likely be The Cure's only live date this summer. That they are still together is surprising as it was widely thought that their last record, Bloodflowers was their swansongÖsince Smith basically said as much. Apparently having a change of heart, the band is reportedly working on new material.
Also playing Roskilde are Beck, Guns 'N Roses, Tool, Bob Dylan, Neil Youg, Robbie Williams, Nick Cave and the
Bad Seeds, Filur, Hammerfall, Hakan Hellstrom, JJ72, Mayhem, and Ski Oakenfull
