STP To Headline Family Values Tour

According to Stone Temple Pilot frontman Scott Weiland, his band has signed on to headline this year's installment of the Family Values Touró"Our management asked everyone in the band if we were into it, and we said yea," stated the profoundly verbose Weiland, "That's what we're going for right now." Also in discussions to play dates on the October-November trek are Staind and System of a Down, although they haven't been confirmed yet. The Family Values Tour was very successful in 1998 and 1999, but took a break last year due to the stiff summer tour competition.

In other STP news, the band just finished up their fifth album, Shangri-La Dee Da, which will be released on June 19th.
