Seconds after the long overdue announcement that Chicagoís Joan Of Arc disbanded, a new group has formed called Owls, made up mostly of the original Capí N Jazz crew. Capí N Jazz were an instrumental part of the early nineties emo-core revolution, and later spawned JOA, Promise Ring, and Ghosts and Vodka. Owls consist of Tim Kinsella, Mike Kinsella, Victor, and Sam Zurick and are in the studio with uber nerd producer Steve Albini. Look for the self-titled debut from Owls to drop on the Jade Tree label July 31, 2001.
