Pearl Jam's management has shot down reports of the band playing several festivals around the world this summer, but they did confirm that they'll play Neil Young's Bridge School Benefit in Mountainview, CA, this fall. It'll mark the sixth time the band has appeared at the 14-year old benefit in some form. Last year's show featured Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Dave Matthews Band, Beck, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Foo Fighters, , as well as Neil Young doing his solo thing. The concert benefits the Bridge School, which was founded in 1986 by Neil Young's wife Pegi and Jim Forderer--for children with severe speech and physical impairments.
