In what seems like a terminal case of bad idea jeans, resident rock goddess Courtney Love has announced on her official website, www.holemusic.com, that she will team up with Roddy Bottum of Faith No More and Imperial Teen fame, to
record a soundtrack of standards for her upcoming film, Hello Suckers. Love had an extremely brief run in the late '80's as the singer for Faith No More, which is how she knows Mr. Bottum. According to her site, she's already recorded demo versions of "The Prisoner's Song," "There'll Be Some Changes Made," and "Alexander's Rag Time Band" as well as some other blues and jazz songs from the era. Hello Suckers starts Love as a 1920's icon during prohibition.
