After months of negotiations back and forth, and meetings with Madonna where they finally kissed and made up, Alanis Morissetteís follow-up to 1998ís Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie has been given the glorious green-light to be released in October on Maverick. The new record was originally slated for release on June 12th. She collaborated on her previous two albums with Glen Ballard, but took over the reigns for this third effort - writing, producing and arranging the entire album herself. "I always want to stretch and scare myself," she explained to Rolling Stone. Hmm, sounds promising. Morissette has been testing out the new tracks at shows in the US this past month, and will tour Europe through mid-July.
