Oasis have set a deadline of September 10th to complete their as-yet-untitled new album. The reason for the self-inflicted stress (which we all know they donít need) is because the English rockers plan to start rehearsing for their tenth anniversary live shows on that date. While Noel Gallagher insisted on keeping the title of the new album a secret, he was nice enough to let us know that album is "likely" to be released at the start of 2002. Thanks Noel. Gallagher said that the group has really "got it together" following the world tour for their Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants album and a media barrage about a possible break-up. "Before there was a lack of communication and a lot of bullshit but it helps having new people in the band." So I guess all of Oasisí previous problems were caused by those nasty ex-mates of theirs. The band plans to release a new single to coincide with their UK club dates in October. "We havenít played venues that size since the (London) Astoria in 1994, so I donít know what to expect but itís gonna be good," said Gallagher, "I canít fucking wait to play."
