If You Bite Them at Night They Make Sparks

The Starlight Mints, Norman, Oklahomaís very own group of eclectic rockers, are nearing departure on a U.S. tour that will span the month of September. The bands first release, 11 songs of quirky pop that is The Dream That Stuff Was Made Of, is filled with pop melodies, Latin rhythms and a string section. The album, which was released last August garnered a plethora of critical acclaim, and while nothing official has been reported, the rumor mill is cranking out "new album in the works." Stoner-pop band the Comas (hey, thatís how their label bills them) will be joining the Mints on the road.
