White Blood Cells is the third offering from the sibling attack of Jack and Meg White (hence the clever White Stripes moniker). The gritty slide guitar
courtesy of the male White, tells us what life would have been like if the Beatles would have been pissed or if Led Zepplin recorded inside and padded garage. No bass can be found, but none is needed for this dirty deep south duo, who stirred up the indie rock world with this appealing release. Are we late to report it? Who cares. This sound will never go out of style. Feedback, muffled vocals, with a homegrown Memphis blues feel - we love it.
