Subourbon

Land Of The El Caminos began their venture into the rock world deep in the Chicago suburbs, practicing and kicking it in beer drenched, reefer filled garages. The three piece quickly climbed the Chicago rock ladder in 1998 with their LOTEC release, with gained them notoriety on XRT and Q101's local music shows. They have shared the stage with amazing acts like Royal Trux, Verbena, Queens of the Stone Age and Local H, and in March of 2000, the band's second release Doll Face found its way onto the CMJ Top 200 charts and was charting on over 80 college radio stations. Singer Dan Fanelli has been smoking since he was in diapers and his scratchy vocals help amplify this trio's aggressive post punk, crunchberry, rock n roll sound. Dinosaur Jr., Silkworm, and Spoon all come to find after first listening to Subourbon which will be distributed by Southern Records and Midwest Artist Distribution. LOTEC are planning an extensive tour in support of this thunderous monster which kicks off October 25 in Iowa. Get it.
