First lady of grunge turned wannabe glamour girl, Courtney Love, will be billed as a solo artist for the first time when she opens for Janeís Addiction on October 27 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Love will be joined on stage by ex-Hole bandmate, Patty Schemel, as well as other musicians yet to be announced. Love camp has announced that new songs would make up about half the set, with Hole numbers and others making up the rest. The new songs will most likely come from the star's new, all girl project, Bastard, which includes Schemel on drums. Other tour dates are also being considered for Love and company.
