Built like Voltron, from the pieces of five separate Bay Area bands (The
Peechees, The Cutz, Heart of Snow, Saint James Infirmary and
Nuisance), The Pattern bring the rock as it hasn't been heard in quite a
while. Sonically comprised of familiar aspects arranged in unfamiliar ways, The
Pattern is Oasis reared on The MC5 and The Stooges instead
of The Beatles. "Sunned Things Speak" and "Finger Us" are especially tasty, big
bluesy riffs and tons of attitude. The boys are all revved up and ready to go, and go they will,
as they're headed to the UK for a month for an NME tour. Form feet and legs!
Form arms and hands! And I'll form the head!
