DJ Shadow And Cut Chemist To Shake Your Ass

The ever-reclusive musical superhero DJ Shadow has reportedly left his fortress of solitude to once again save the world from mediocrity. Armed with a new website, new full-length, and a tour supporting a new collaboration with superfriend Cut Chemist, DJ Shadow is well prepared to once again conquer the smoke-filled, neon habitat known around the globe as the discotheque. Cut Chemist, of Jurassic 5 and Ozomatli fame, will join in the battle as the two men hit the road to disseminate their new project, Product Replacement, amongst the unsuspecting public. The record will only be sold at these shows and those lucky enough to get a hold of one will have a very rare and valuable jewel. The dynamic duoís last collaboration, 1999ís legendary Brainfreeze, which was sold in a similar fashion, now sells on eBay (if you can find it) for around $85

DJ Shadow will bring the noise on multiple fronts as the long-awaited follow-up to 1996ís Endtroducing is nearing completion. The as-yet-untitled body of work is slated to hit the shelves in February via MCA / Island and is mixed by James Abbiss, who led the charge for U.N.K.L.E.ís Psyence Fiction.
