Thriller

New End Original is a new outfit on Jade Tree made up of old stars. Fronted by Jonah (ex-Far, Onelinedrawing) NEO definitely put the bop back in the bop she bop she bop, with pop fueled vengeance thanks to Norm Arenas and Scott Winegard (both ex-Texas Is The Reason) and Charlie (ex-Chamberlain). "Lukewarm", the album's opening blastmaster, is an action packed scream which should be added to every station from here to Timbuktu. "14 to 41" is another charmer with a solid hook, great vocals, and what more can we say other than the obvious - "top billin". New End Original created a smashing debut in Thriller, and although it doesn't come close to Michael Jackson's album of the same name, this record gushes with explosive, seductive, magnetic, and sentimental goodness. "Weary Progress" is an angry little fella, and "#1 Defender" is the soundtrack to the movie Hoosiers. We appreciate NEO's effort to continue down the evolving highway of rock, with both arms and legs hanging out the window, screaming and playing, just having fun.
