Icelandic superstar Bj?rk is gearing up for the Nov. 19 release of three live DVDs capturing the essence of the chanteuseís live performance. The previously released, Live at Shepherdís Bush, a document of a Feb. 27, 1997 show in London, has been digitally remastered for the DVD edition. The other two releases, Live In Cambridge and Unplugged / Live ëní Loud, are previously unreleased. The former is a full show recorded Dec. 2, 1998, while the latter combines both a performance for MTVís "Unplugged" recorded in 1994 and a 1998 London performance on MTV U.K.ís "Live ëní Loud." The three DVDs cover supporting shows for Bj?rkís first three studio albums; 1993ís Debut, 1995ís Post, and 1997ís Homogenic. The new DVDs will be released via One Little Indian.
Bj?rk recently wrapped a North American tour in support of her latest album, Vespertine, which included a two-night stand at New York's Radio City Music Hall. The artist was accompanied at her performances by a 54-piece orchestra, an Inuit choir, electronica duo Matmos, and harpist Zeena Parkins.
