Nettwerk has signed Neil Finn and will release two albums from him in early 2002. 7 Worlds Collide is Neil's highly-anticipated, 25-track live album culled from a series of shows in his native New Zealand for which his live band was made up of Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, legendary Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, Neil's brother Tim Finn, Lisa Germano and guitarist Ed O'Brien from Radiohead. Tracks span Finn's impressive songwriting career from Split Enz and Crowded House to his forthcoming solo release, One Nil, even revealing some new Finn Brothers material and a couple of great covers, including The Smiths' classic "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out." It will hit stores on 2/26/02...a single will arrive in January and a DVD is planned as well.
Neil's internationally-acclaimed second solo album One Nil will be released in the US and Canada by Nettwerk in April of 2002 with additional material not available on previous import versions. A single from this album will drop in March. Neil will most likely tour the U.S. this spring. For tons of online Neil fun, check out www.nilfun.com.
