The Breeders Awake From Seven-Year Coma

The Breeders are back from a seven-year hiatus, after consuming 35,000 gallons of beer, and an entire Forrest of Marijuana. The newly reformed Cannonballers will hit the road for a month long tour beginning January 28. The official line up consists of the Deal sisters, Kelley and Kim, along with Richard Presley and Mondo Lopez. Elektra Records is hoping to release a new Breeders record in February, the first from the band since 1993's "alternative" release, Last Splash, which was produced in Chicago by "revenge of the nerd" Steve Albini.
