Monday Express - Boards of Canada to Return, Adam Ant Loves The Limelight

UK electronica pioneers Boards of Canada are readying their next album. The
band, signed to Warp Records worldwide and released through Matador in the States, have
delighted dance music lovers for years with their bubbly and atmospheric soundscapes and
hope to continue that trend next month. Boards, who haven't released anything
since 1998's stellar Music Has The Right To Children, are due to drop
Geogaddi on February 18 in the UK. No word on a US release date, but just like
with Royksopp you'll most likely hear about the album through word of mouth,
long before you actually get to check it out domestically.

Late '70s and early '80s pop star and pirate extraordinaire Adam Ant has evidently
been leaving the house with more than just a parrot and a sword. The 47-year-old was
arrested Saturday night on charges of brandishing a fake weapon and intent to cause general
mayhem. Ant, (real name Stuart Goddard) was taken into custody outside a
London pub after he pulled a fake gun on door staff, after he was banned from entering. He
also gave the beatdown to one gentleman, who is pressing charges as well. "Prince
Charming", indeed...
