NBC Gives Conan O'Brien Money…Cash And Hoes Still Up For Negotiation

Conan O’Brien is close to receiving a new four-year, $8 million a year contract. According to Daily Variety, O’Brien is discussing the new demands with NBC, which could make him the highest-paid host ever in the 12:35 timeslot. O’Brien’s production company Conaco would continue to receive mucho dinero from the peacock network, and by inking the deal Conan would increase his chances of taking over for Jay Leno when his contract ends in four years. O’Brien, 38, recently married Liz Powell in Seattle after the advertising executive appeared in a sketch on Late Night. Meanwhile Andy Richter has a new show coming out on Fox this March, which he will discuss with David Letterman tonight on the Late Show.
