Everclear Frontman Hits The Road All By His Lonesome

Art Alexakis, frontman for suburban rock outfit Everclear, has decided to spend his time off from recording the bandís next album to embark on a sixteen-city solo tour. According to Rolling Stone, Alexakis promises his set will include such Everclear favorites as "Santa Monica," I Will Buy You A New Life," and "Wonderful," along with two new songs, "Glorious" and "Volvo Driving Soccer Mom." The star will also unload some songs from his pre-Everclear days, namely, a few lesser-known tracks from his old band, Colorfinger. Beginning April 14th Alexakis will have his own two-hour show on KNRK-Portland, Oregon. The show, which will also be broadcast on the web, will be called Black Jack Radio: Music, Politics and Attitudes and will air on Sunday nights.
