Pete Yornís critically acclaimed debut record, Musicforthemorningafter, will be reissued by Columbia on April 23rd. According to Billboard, the limited edition re-release will include a bonus disc that features a number of cover tunes, including the Bossís "New York Serenade" and "Dancing in the Dark," the Smithsí "Panic," and Bowieís "China Girl." The disc will also include another new version of "Strange Condition" with special guest guitarist Peter Buck of R.E.M., as well as videos for "Strange Condition," "For Nancy (ëCos It Already Is)," "Life on a Chain," and "June." Yorn will kick of a string of North American dates with Elbow on April 2nd in Santa Ana, California. The singer / songwriter also has some tentative dates opening for Weezer that would begin April 23rd in Edmonton. Stops at Coachella, Nashvilleís River Stages and Atlantaís Music Midtown Festival are also on the itinerary.
