Radiohead have lent their music to a new campaign for the anti-poverty charity War On Want. The adverstisement, narrated by Ewan McGregor, features a team of vultures picking away at a helpless and rotting animal, the same way Western currency speculators destabalize the economies of developing countries. According to NME, and the War On Want web site, the charity is asking for a tax of a fraction of one per cent to calm currency markets and raise funds for development on this the Tobin Tax Day. Check out the clip HERE, and do what you can to help. Radiohead will perform new material during a handful of intimate and select shows in July and August in Portugal and Spain. Ewan McGregor can be seen in Star Wars II Attack Of The Clones in May.
