Felix Da Housecat Takes Home Album Of The Year At DanceStar USA

Chicagoís very own dance master, Felix Da Housecat, has been awarded the Album of the Year award for Kitten & Thee Glitz by DanceStar USA, the first American dance music awards. The event took place in Miami last Sunday (March 24th) during the Winter Music Conference and saw Felix pitted against such standouts as The Crystal Method (Tweekend), Daft Punk (Discovery), Darude (Before the Storm) and Basement Jaxx (Rooty). The annual DanceStar Awards in London has become the worldís largest dance music awards show since its inception in 2000, featuring a TV broadcast with a reach of over 60 million viewers. The US version, which presents 16 different awards chosen by an academy of 1,000 US industry peeps, will be broadcast via MTV Europe as well as various US outlets.
