Lessons Learned From Rocky I To Rocky III

Theeyyyyy're baaaack. The golden children of 1997, Cornershop have returned to
the fray with their first new material in almost five years. Having recorded an album under
their side-project pseudonym, Clinton and almost having disbanded due to
frustration with the music industry, the 'Shop is back, and, dare I say, better than
ever. "Lessons Learned From Rocky I to Rocky III," apart from being an early contender
for single title of the year, is a raucous romp through Rolling Stones and
Oasis territory, without a Eastern influence to be found anywhere. The track is a
riot, a big, funky guitar jam, complete with female backing vocals, and a bell rung like that at a
boxing match. Where's Apollo Creed when you need him?? JEREMY P. GOLDSTEIN
