Oasis Will Drop Some Science On Your Ass This Summer

Heathen Chemistry, Oasisí first studio album since 2000ís Standing On The Shoulders of Giants, will make its way into the hands of millions of Brit-pop hungry Americans this summer. According to Epic Records, the bandís long awaited fifth studio album will hit the streets this July, though a specific date has yet to be set. Heathen Chemistry was produced by Oasis and mixed by studio superstar Mark "Spike" Stent of Bjork, Madonna, and U2 fame. The 11-track album features the near legendary songwriting expertise of the brothers Gallagher, along with contributions from the bandís new recruits, guitarist Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell. A world tour is being planned in support of Chemistry later this year, but we Americans will have two chances this month to get our live Oasis fix a bit early. The band will be performing on April 26 at the Joint in Las Vegas and will headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival two days later. So if youíre in the area, or you have some extra cash leftover in your travel budget, it would be worth your while to catch the dueling Gallagher brothers in action.
