Sleater-Kinney, the reason for living for most riot grrrls across the world, are hard at work on their sixth album. According to Rollingstone.com, the follow up to All Hands On The Bad One, is looking at an August release. Drummer Janet Weiss told the magazine that the untitled record is ìabout sixty percent done.î Weiss and guitarist Carrie Brownstein used their downtime from SK wisely, performing in side projects Quasi and Spells, while cutie singer Corin Tucker squeezed out a child. Weiss commented that the time apart "benefited us, in that we're a lot more focused and excited about working together because we had the time away.î John Goodmanson, the producer for 1997ís breakthrough Dig Me Out and All Hands..., will once again work with the trio, and the disc will be released on Kill Rock Stars.
