Flowers In The Window

Releasing the third single from 2001's brilliant The Invisible Band, Scottish pop
sensations Travis try to re-enter the public consciousness in the UK prior to festival
season and no better track to relaunch their visibility than the summery "Flowers In The
Window." The excellence of this track is not lost on anyone who has spent time with the
album, but the real gem on the single is the band's live cover of The Beatles classic
"Here Comes The Sun." The cover is rather straightforward, but the song is perfectly suited
to the vocal harmonies produced by Fran Healy and Dougie Payne. The
"God Bless you, George" at the end is a nice touch, too...
