Sex Pistols Stand Up The Queen

Punk rock pioneers, the Sex Pistols have backed out of a planned appearance at the Queenís Golden Jubilee celebrations in June. According to Reuters, the band simply did not want to play that weekend and instead are making plans for a another gig at Londonís Crystal Palace National Sports Stadium on July 21. This show has not yet been confirmed. The Golden Jubilee concerts will take place June 1 and 3 on the grounds of Buckingham Palace. The first date will feature a number of classical acts, while the second will have performances by the likes of Paul McCartney, Elton John, Queen, Tony Bennett, Eric Clapton, Aretha Franklin, and more.
