The legendary and highly influential punk band of the early '90s, Jane's Addiction, have finished eight songs for their new album, Hypersonic, in just three weeks' time. The line up consists of singer Perry Farrell, drummer Stephen Perkins, guitarist Dave Navarro and new guy bassist Martyn Le Noble (replacing original member Eric Avery). According to MTV.com, the Addicted are working with Bob Ezrin, the producer responsible for The Wall from Pink Floyd, along with vintage Aerosmith and Kiss recordings, for their fourth proper release. Farrell told the site that the new songs are, "just rockin', rippin' songs." The record will be mixed, mastered, primped, styled, and slapped in the ass and ready to go in the fall.
