With old age and runny make-up intact, The Cure continue to plug in, play shows, and attempt to make their sad and dreary fans happy. The legendary group have already been confirmed for a number of European festivals this summer, and according to NME, have announced a date at Londonís Hyde Park on July 27. The gig is part of the ìRoute Of Kingsî concerts, and Scottish lads Mogwai along with The Cranes will open up. The Cure recently released their umpteenth greatest hits record, and plan on writing and recording more near material in the future. So if you are in London, grab your best lipstick, and say hello to Robert.
