Violent Femmes Debut Receives the Deluxe Treatment





Nearly 20 years since its initial release, the Violent Femmesí debut album, an essential part of any good CD collection, will be reissued on Slash Records/Rhino Entertainment. According to Billboard, the deluxe re-issue will include the albumís original 10 tracks, as well as a collection of UK singles and previously unreleased demos and live tracks. The self-titled release will retail for the low, low price of $24.98 and will include two discs. Disc one contains the entire original album with demos and UK singles. Disc two is a live compilation, with 13 of the 14 tracks being previously unreleased. The collection adds 26 tracks in total. Wow, thatís less than a dollar per new track ñ what a bargain.
