Propellerheads Back On Scene But Missing Direction?

One of the biggest acts on the scene circa 1998, Propellerheads, are readying their first
album for the 21st century. The electronic duo, best known for '60s-influnced breakbeat
bonanzas like "Spybreak," "Take California and "History Repeating," with Shirley
Bassey, have embraced further collaborations on their pending record, enlisting help from
such artists as Debbie Harry, Rufus Wainwright and KD Lang. The
album, which is not due out until 2003, is believed to incorporate more r&b and soul influence
than 1998's Decksandrumsandrockandroll. While their 1998 debut was a cutting edge
release, their sophomore release already sounds tired and it hasn't even streeted yet. Hopefully,
the album with be more dynamic than it reads, right?
