Juliana Hatfield Returns to the Fray this Summer with Some Girls





Former Blake Babies teammates Juliana Hatfield and drummer Freda Love have hooked up with Indiana-based guitarist Heidi Gluck (Lola, The Pieces) to record an album as Some Girls. According to Pitchforkmedia.com, the trio is currently working on the as-yet-untitled debut with Jake Smith (Lisa Germano, Mysteries Of Life) in the crazy college town of Bloomington, IN. Go Hoosiers! The Some Girls album is expected to hit the streets this summer and will be supported by US tour. In related news, Zoe/Rounder will release a Hatfield best-of collection on June 25, entitled Gold Stars 1992-2002. The 20-track compilation will include eight previously unreleased songs - two from the alternative pop princessí unreleased 1996 effort Godís foot, and six new tracks.
