Metallica, U2, and Garbage Join Recorded Ramone Respecters

The Joey Ramone tribute album is finally starting to take shape. As was brought to you
here on The Tripwire months ago, the album is being organized by Rob Zombie and will
feature cover versions of Ramones classics by such industry luminaries Red Hot Chili
Peppers, Marilyn Manson, Green Day, and Eddie Vedder.
According to Billboard, the previously reported contributions from Joe Strummer
and Billy Corgan will not appear. However, further superstars have been added to the
lineup and it can now be revealed that album will also contain recordings from Metallica,
U2, and Garbage. The album is due out this summer on Columbia Records, so if
you want more information, heckle Jeff Sodikoff or something.
